this is for you,

I want to put lyrics, but, really, there aren't any specific lyrics that fit Kilgore and Mark. It's the sentiment of the song, really, and sort of the fact that it's one of Kilgore's favorites, because he is addicted to Amanda Palmer. Sometimes I feel I've got to run away Morality would frown upon Norm life baby: I'm not bothering to quote this one either. That said: Alice objects to sharing this song with Kilgore, because she hates him, but this would be about Davin's thoughts on relationships immediately following Mark. I listened to it during their hatesex scene. Enough said. It's Kilgore's theme song. The end. I really have nothing to say for this one. I like writing angry sex to it, apparently. I also recommend Johnny Cash's cover of it (Marilyn Manson's, not so much), albeit for different reasons. That one doesn't get to be on the Kilgore and Mark playlist. I'm not linking to the lyrics because I don't know what they mean. Loosely, it's "Dance of Arrogance" and the vague translations I've gotten so far have basically been, "We fuck each other over, and it's so good." I'm not linking to these lyrics because, being about abortions, they're mostly irrelevant. I like this song for the sentiment and the music, less than the lyrical content. Domination's the name of the game The HTML on this one got fucked, so it doesn't get a blurb. I hate Fall Out Boy. Again, the lyrics aren't really that important. The overall feel of the song is. Everytime we lie awake What's the use of all of this? There's a time when every girl learns The slump by the courthouse There's too much of the lyrics I could quote. They can speak for themselves. Domino motion jump starts when we touch I am the victim I wanted freedom; This? Is one of my favorite songs, of all time, ever. That said… I first put it on here thinking of Mark finding his place suddenly sans a Davin, but really, looking at the lyrics, it moves so seamlessly from Mark's POV to Davin's that making strict delineations between the two can sometimes be difficult. It's mostly Mark's, overall, but either way, it's lovely. And I went crazy again today, looking for a strand to climb I brought my girl an apple, she let me hold her hand. |
