Three Tells
1. Letting you go hurt, but swallowing my pride and admitting that I was wrong was something that I couldn't do. I needed to grow up more than I had, and you deserved better at that point.

2. The first day you talked to me was the happiest day of my life until that point.

3. Every day, I thank something wondrous that you're my wife.

Three Never Shares
1. I'm scared — of everything. I'm scared that I won't be the man you deserve, or the sort of father that our children deserve. But, more than that, I'm afraid that I won't be able to protect you and them, the way I couldn't protect Fred or my father, and I'm afraid that I won't be able to provide, and that they'll have to share everything, or have everything second-hand, the way my siblings and I had growing up.

2. I wonder, with alarming frequency, what would have happened if I'd been in Slytherin. What I usually wonder is whether or not we still would've wound up together. I'm not sure we would have, if only because I think that, between my family and how the other Slytherins would've treated me, I wouldn't have been any sort of decent.

3. Oliver used to accuse me of stalking you. I was rather sure you had no idea who I was.

Three Tells
1. If not for you, and the desire to please you, I might have gone off the rails entirely, to the point of being useless, when Regulus died, and I shudder to think of such a thing. Thank you for that.

2. Frequently, I wish that more women were of your exceeding quality, but then I pause and consider if any of them could be so exemplary.

3. I wish I'd kept my father's head. If properly preserved, it might have made a lovely trophy.

Three Never Shares
1. Even when I had nothing to do with it, your disappointment is one of my greatest fears.

2. I think that everyone is sure that Regulus and I were to each other as Achilles to Patroclus. I don't know how I'd possibly respond to those assertions, if anyone were to say it outright, because I'm not certain of the degree to which they might be right, but I am certain that I would likely die of embarrassment if you were to be the one making them. That, or I would be unsure of whether to appease you and affirm the suspicions, or to stand to propriety and deny them, and so I would say nothing, and I wonder if this would be just as bad as the assumptions being true.

3. I've wondered before what the underlying rationale for my intense devotion to you means, because sometimes, it occurs to me that, were it only shared devotion to the Dark Lord, it might not be so fanatical, as one might call it. I try not to spend too much time wondering over this, though, because it would be ridiculously inappropriate and your husband terrifies me.

Three Tells
1. I despise you. I despise your friends and I loathe absolutely everything about you. There was no excuse for what you did to my best friend and, despite the fact that there was decidedly a line of people waiting to eviscerate you, I wished that Madame Lestrange would have let have a go at killing you. There is nothing good about who you are or what you do. However it happens, I hope that you die slowly and painfully.

2. You are not funny. Everyone who says so is just indulging you.

3. Regulus ~~loves~~ likes me better. Maybe, if you were to attempt not being an entirely offensive Blood Traitor who hates his family, Regulus would change his mind, but seeing as you are unwilling, he ~~loves~~ likes me better.

Three Never Shares
1. I was using James so I could get close and kill you. Too bad it never happened. He's useless otherwise.

2. You may or may not be half-right when you say things about abominations with regards to myself and Regulus.

3. Have you ever said anything sexually immoral or otherwise untoward about French women? You may possibly be right about it, whatever it is.
